Ginsburg, Ruth
(b. 1933)
   American lawyer. Born in Brooklyn, she studied at Cornell, Harvard and Columbia Universities. She taught at Rutgers and Columbia Law Schools and became a circuit judge in 1980. She was appointed to a Justice of the Supreme Court in 1993.
